you can write a solid song
it’s not difficult at all
they would hear it once, and they’d all sing along
to be something you could’ve thrown out years ago
but the parts shouldnt change so much -
maybe today you wouldn’t feel something wrong
no more checking your chest for a heartbeat
or examining things that we missed
keep yourself from reveling in the sadness of
everything
